Please help us help support our daughters LOVE of Dance!

Hey all!

I know, I know. I am bugging again about our Etsy shop and all but.......this is what I had to deal with this weekend....
This is Isabel, looking at the dance school's website, at the schedule for next year, to see what classes she would like to take and at what times they are available.

My kids are in love with their dance classes. And unfortunately, this December, we took a hit with our income, and we just can't afford classes next year. We have 3 daughters who all want to attend, and I will not leave any out.....and we can only really afford to send 1 out of 3 next year.

Below are pics of Madison's recitals from the last 3 years and Isabel's acro showcase from this year.

This is the ONLY extracurricular activity my children like doing. Without it, they are pretty much home all the time.  I really feel that their dance classes allow them to socialize and it helps them grow to learn teamwork.

THIS, those faces you see smiling ear to ear, are the reason we started 3ladyBugCrafts. It's ALL for the girls.

So, we ask  you in return, to please take a moment to visit our shop and/or Facebook page, and share it with your friends, family, fellow bloggers, or Etsy followers. It would be greatly appreciated!

Again, thank you in advance for your support!

Recital weekend

This past weekend was recital weekend.

On Friday, we had Isabel's little showcase at the dance school. Her and her acro teammates did a cute little routine. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it actually was a well coordinated "routine". It was sooo cute and she was so proud of herself, as we were proud of her.

Then Saturday was Madison's recital. This was her second year in a row. And once she again, she owned that routine! Its kind of hard to really want the whole 2 minute dance, and see all the kids, AND concentrate on your own child, but she seemed like one of the better ones. She loves dance. And she pretty much puts her ALL into everything she does, as if she's getting paid to do it.

However, she is talking about backing down from the "dance" and moving onto acro next year. I wish she would stay with the dance because she is so good at it, but I will not be that mom to force my children into extracurricular activities if they don't to. So, we shall see.

Overall it was a very Proud weekend!

Heeeyyyy Junnnnne

Hey all! Its that time of the year where summer is fast approaching. However in our house this is a pretty busy month. Well....at least  for one specific week in June it will be.

Its the end of the school year now!!!! Our school year has been extended a little bit because of all the hate Mother Nature threw at us over the winter. Ugh.  So my children will be in school until the later part of the month. Boo.  (For them, not me. Remember...I work from home.)  None of the girls are progressing to a higher level school next year, so we do not have any of that orientation type stuff to go through this time around. Everyone is staying where they are.

Dance school will also be ending for the year too.  So we will have picture week, recitals, and showcases, OH MY.   I, of course, will be posting pics and blogs about those end of the year events.

Also this month, I will be doing some 4th of July posts too. I will be hitting the dollar stores for some inexpensive decor.  I am sure I will also be posting about some recipes ideas, or dessert ideas. I have so many things on my Pintrest board for Red, White and Blue holidays that I want to try. So feel free to Follow me on Pintrest and try some of those ideas right along with me.

And I am sure, if not in June, definitely in July,  I will be posting some type of scheduling ideas for kids over the summer. The girls are home with me a lot more in summer, while I am working, and if I don't have a plan, things can get kinds of crazy around here.
I also like to try a few new crafts over the summer with the girls, so I will be posting about those as well.

In all honesty, I don't think I will be posting daily over the next month. I will be stepping up my own game, for certain personal reasons, so I intend on being pretty busy with normal everyday chores and things. But as I stated, I do have a lot of ideas and will be sharing them all with you.

***Feel free to also follow me on Pintrest @hjsmoons

Daily Life - 4/22/14 - More RED paint

Brian is still painting the back porch. Not sure where he got the idea, but ... whatever. He grabbed the red accent wall color from the kitchen and took it into the back porch. So now its all freshy fresh. And when you do have a view of the back porch from the kitchen, it kinda flows better now. So yeah, not too bad. Would still like my kitchen finished first but.....ya know.... sigh.  I will post some before and after pics once its done and cleaned up. Same for the kitchen. (for those of you who know we have been working on it.)

The girls are home for Spring break....ummmmm..yeah. They aren't being antsy, but they are just home while I am trying to get work done. Sometimes I can tune it out and other days like today, I just need everyone to not make any noise, so i can concentrate. However, Brian did take them out fishing so I was able to get a little piece for a while there.
I also insisted that I take Madison to dance tonight, alone. So I was able to just saunter around Target, by myself. I did pick up a few grocery items and some hair/beauty items that I needed, but most of all, did I mention I was alone?!?!?  Ha Ha All was great until I got stuck in the middle of a thunderstorm on the way home. Luckily, me and the storm were just passing each other in the night.  I only puled over for a few minutes ;)

Last but not least, Madison wanted me to record her doing her recital dance, tonight. Then Isabel jumped in too. So, I posted it on YouTube. Will link video below. Please excuse the first 10 or so seconds. If anyone has any suggestions of editing programs that I can use to cut out parts of what I record, please let me know.

And on that note, I need to get tired because it is now 12:06am, and I have to be up & logged on for work in 9 hours. I know, doesn't sound bad, but considering I may not fall asleep until almost 2am at this point.. Oh well, nothing COFFEE can't handle.
