Your next new toothbrush holder

Hey all!

If you have been following for a while now, you may have seen that a few months back, I got a new toothbrush holder...for $1.  Sounds really corny, but its been a game changer in my bathroom.

Have you ever seen those $1 small tin buckets? Well, these days you can find them EVERYWHERE. And at stores like target or Walmart, they seem to have them out for every seasonal/holiday change. I kept seeing them and thinking how cute they were, but WHAT could I do with it?

I saw one that was geared towards the holidays, and it matched my bathroom decor, so I grabbed it.

These little tin cans are so great for many reasons. They are only about a dollar, so you can buy new ones all the time to change with the seasons or your decor.  And best of all, they have a large open concept mouth.
Usual toothbrush holders have a few holds to put the tooth brushes, and your toothpaste is usually kept somewhere else, or many time just on the counter next to it. Or, you might have a large family, and end up having multiple holders around. Then some toothbrushes will fit the holes and some wont.
Well with these buckets, you can just plop all toothbrushes AND the toothpaste in this tin!!!

Easy!! Fun!! DONE!!

Life is a changin'

Hey all!

I know I keep going MIA. I was on the ball, then I got so busy.  But just wanted to pop in to alert the ones who care....

I have lost my job. I have kind of been expecting it...but it came with NO warning. Literally, as soon as I was told, my access was gone. Very few words were given to me from my immediate boss. I felt like I was treated like a criminal, but.......whatever......moving on.

I am trying my best to stay positive about the whole thing though. new job, means bigger pay raise, right?? Everything happens for a reason!!!

Also, my husband, who has MS, has been down the last month or so. He is taking a new medication which is helping a little for his mood, but working great for his mobility. However, its a learning process and change of life, for us all.

I am still working on crafts for this show that I am doing the first week in December. And now working on job search stuff, and working out all of the unemployment paperwork and stuff that comes along with losing a job.  I am hoping that once all is taken care of, and calmed down, if I am still unemployed, I plan to come back FULL FORCE with this blog. New ideas, maybe new recipes, tips tricks, and stuffs.

I thank you all for your support and hope you stick around to see what we can venture into together!

(((HUGS)))))

PS - Just for your blogging pleasure...here is a photo of the last minute decor I put together last night for Thanksgiving. I almost skipped by it, but then realized I can't allow myself to do that.

Halloween 2015

Hey all!

This is going to be more of a pictorial post. No big stories from our weekend, just cute pictures.

The twins had their annual (and last) Halloween parade at school. I went a little early to try to not park blocks away.....that didn't happen. More then half the town is up at that school I swear.

But above the photos of traffic and crowds....look at that perfect sky. I swear, NO filter.
Ava was a bumble bee and pulled it of sooooo cute!
Isabel really wanted to be Mal from the Descendants movie. But by the time I had money to go shopping, there were none. So she picked a witch dress and said she was Mal's evil sister....??? OK!

Later that night, we headed out for our first Trunk or Treat. They were sooo excited. And Daddy was able to go with us too. (very proud of him, he made it the whole time)

In case you are not familiar (I just heard about these last year), a trunk or treat is an even put on by some type of organization. People open the trunks to their cars, decorate the car and dress up themselves, and hand out candy.  Here are a few of the best trunks that were there. But this one, was the first one for this town we went to, and they had about 100 cars and over 400 trick or treaters show. Can't wait for next year.

Moving on to actual Halloween....
First, I decided to go and get some craft supplies and other things we needed from the Dollar store, but along the way, again, a gorgeous and cool looking Fall day.

Later on, it was just me and the girls trick or treating. We ran into a guy who was on stilts, all dressed up, and walking all over town entertaining people.
Also, my Aunt and Uncle, decorate their front porch every year and my uncle dresses up as well. So we stopped there as well for our annual Halloween pic with Uncle Al.

Hope you all had a great Halloween as well!!!!
